Always had a big garden and was a great cook. Active in her church and fixed the best cookies for VBS!

She was an adjunct instructor at Pellissippi State Community College and taught classes at Austin High School Adult Educational School.

Taught at Milligan College for almost two decades and traveled through 14 countries!

During the war, she moved to Oakridge, TN and was an inspector where the first Atomic Bomb was made.
